Maui Wedding Receptions
- Many wedding couples desire to have their own Maui Wedding Reception for their guests.
You can plan just about anything that your budget and your party requires.
Small Wedding Receptions
At Restaurants
- Smaller Maui wedding parties often just decide
to go to a nearby restaurant for their Maui reception dinner. We have a number
of restaurants that we recommend. This can be simple or it can be elaborate,
depending on your party size and your desires. There are some restaurants
where you will be able to have entertainment if you desire. I will be happy to
recommend a good restaurant for your party.

- Some of our couples like to take their guests to an
existing Maui luau for their wedding party. If you want to do this, please let
us know, as we will need to adjust the time of your Maui wedding to
accommodate the luau schedule. Because most luaus start before sunset,
attending a luau on your wedding day means that you will not be able to have
sunset photography at your Maui beach wedding.
Private Maui Wedding Receptions

- If you are renting a private Maui wedding
location, you may also be able to have a reception at that location. (Be sure
to ask, because not all private sites will allow this). The selection of Maui
locations is limited for those wishing to have a large reception, but there
are sites available (be sure to ask us about our unadvertised sites that are
available on the island).
It seems that there are less and less locations
where you can have a larger reception. Because of this, keeping the neighbors
happy by eliminating extensive noise is always a concern for all private Maui
reception locations. I will walk you through what needs to be done to get the
right reception site.
Maui Reception Entertainment
- Entertainment is abundant and varied. If price
is no object, you can have your own private luau. Just about anything is
available. A fire dancer or a group of hula danc
 ers can entertain as well as
an entire Polynesian
dance troupe. We have Hawaiian bands, a dance band, DJs, large tents and
chairs, catered food, at private estates.
If you would like a custom luau for your reception, we can do that. We have
entertainment including an 18-person ensemble which includes hula dancers,
fire dancers, Tahitian drummers, and musicians. Presentation is an hour long,
then the DJ kicks into party mode for your favorite dance music. It will be a
truly magical evening.
The mini luau includes a singer/guitarist, hula dancer, drummer and fire
dancer. If you would like something a little more low key, we can accommodate
that. You might consider a duo with guitar, ukulele and an added hula dancer.
