The Ohana Package

Feel the excitement rising up inside your heart as you arrive at your wedding site. Your hair and make-up which was completed earlier by the Maui Me® hairdresser right at your hotel, has given you that model perfect look. Now you're ready to tie the knot. A Hawaiian musician is playing as your wedding begins to play as you hold your bouquet and make your entrance. The fragrance aroma of aloha is in the air. The videographer and photographer catch your image as you make your entrance in this beautiful Hawaiian setting.

The minister leads the two of you through an intimate commitment as you place leis around each other's necks. You exchange rings, looking into each others eyes as the waves crash in the background. How could there be a more romantic location for your dream wedding? Finally, you kiss. And then the fun begins.

Posing for your photography, walking down the beach for your video, serving each other cake and sparkling apple cider, there is looks of kissing and laughter. You feel like a model or even a movie star as your Maui wedding photographer and your videographer pose you in front of the most gorgeous romantic sunset you've ever seen.

This could be you with our luxurious Ohana Package. It provides a multi-featured wedding that makes our Maui weddings so much more memorable.

NOTE: Because this package is only for couples with 8 or less total people, you will need to create your own wedding package using the ala carte page if you have more people. You can also add any other wedding services to this package if something is missing.

Ohana Package: A Full Description

 

     Maui Wedding Minister: As in the other packages, you receive the services of our default minister (John Souter). Because he has three ceremonies that he performs.  You can look online and choose the one which is most appropriate for the two of you.

 

If you would like to have your own vows read or do any rearrangement of his ceremony, there will be an extra charge (depending upon the number of your changes). If you would like a different minister, we can book someone else for you, but outside ministers are an additional charge.

 

     Maui Wedding Photography: In this wedding package, like the Mahalo, you receive 48 digital pictures in your wedding album. (We actually shoot many more so the quality will be high.) You also receive two 8 x 10" enlargements. If all goes well, your photography should be ready before you leave Maui. (Although a CD Rom is not included in this package we do sell the original images. You can add it to your wedding order.)

 

     Maui Wedding Videography: This wedding package includes our "B" video, which is a fully edited video with dissolves, slow motion, titles and one song (of your choice) to which we use over romantic footage of the two of you taken after the wedding. This is a high quality video presented on a VHS tape. The Ohana Package does not include any DVD's, but it can be added from our ala carte menu for an additional cost.

 

     Maui Wedding Flowers: This package has two flower leis, a groom's boutonnière which usually matches the bride's upgraded cascading bouquet. Remember, you can specify your color scheme with your flowers, either vibrant (brighter oranges, purples and yellow colors), or pastel (whites, yellows and pinks).      Maui Wedding Musician. The Ohana Package #4 also adds the services of a solo Hawaiian musician. This can be any type of musician from a harpist to a guitar player (singing or not) or any other choice from the many musicians on Maui that we offer. You will want to see our musicians pages for the choices.

 

     Cake Table Presentation. After the wedding we provide a large decorated table with a white lace tablecloth, ice bucket for your sparkling apple cider glasses. (NOTE: Champagne is not available on the beach by order of the County). The Ohana Package includes engraved flutes (with your names, date and the words "Maui, Hawaii" on them). In this package you also receive a small 6" wedding cake for two. If you have a few guests, we provide service for them as well.

 

     Offsite Wedding Coordination: I will book your Hawaii wedding license appointment with the closest wedding agent and send you written directions in an email before you come so you can obtain your license once your on Maui. I provide a written itinerary so you'll be able to stay organized on your trip to Maui.

     Onsite Wedding Coordination: At your wedding I will coordinate all of the details to make certain that everything goes as planned. This is an important service which many other Maui wedding planners often do not provide.

     After Your Maui Wedding: I will coordinate having your photography edited and printed by our lab and work with the videographer to get your video edited in a timely fashion. If you decide that you want to pick up your photography your photos will often be ready for you to take with you. If not I will mail them to you at home. (We recommend shipping them FedEx, but that will be an extra charge.)
 

I also provide you with a nice souvenir wedding certificate -- suitable for framing -- with your names and the date and place of your wedding nicely designed in a calligraphy typestyle.
