Maui Wedding Ministers
Great marriages are built upon strong
commitments. You want a Maui wedding ceremony that will touch your hearts but
which will also strengthen your commitment to each other. It should be worded
to reflect your special feelings for each other as well as your personal
beliefs.
We have a carefully selected list of Hawaiian ministers that we use on
a regular basis for our wedding couples. We want you to have the right
Maui wedding minister for your wedding. And so these are the ones that we
recommend most highly, because we know they'll do the best job on your
ceremony.
Rev.
Vance Rosete
Rev. Vance Ali'i Rosete was born and raised on the beautiful island of
Maui. Vance is a dedicated and committed husband and father, married for
over 17 years. "Commitment" is the word he gives to those newly-wed
couples; for it is through commitment, that love can be validated.

Although Rev. Vance started in the wedding industry as a musician, he knew he had
been called by God to enter the ministry. In 1999 he was ordained as a
minister of the Gospel, and became an associate Pastor of Harvest Chapel,
Church of God.
Later, Rev. Vance ventured out and started his own, non-denominational,
Christian ministry, and New Passion Ministries was born. In November of
2002, New Passion Ministries began a church, where family and friends
gathered to worship God.
Rev. Vance feels so honored and blessed to have been given the
privilege to join two people, before God, in Holy Matrimony. Although he
has performed hundreds of Wedding Ceremonies and Vow Renewals, he sees
each one as being unique and special. Each and every ceremony he performs
is truly sincere and heart-felt. He can make the most nervous grooms and
brides feel comfortable with his warm and gentle spirit.

Rev. Pia Aluli
Pia
Aluli was born and raised on the island of Oahu. He has spent most of his life
performing Hawaiian music for hotels, restaurants, conventions and weddings.
He has also toured extensively in Canada and the mainland sharing his culture
and Hawaiian music.
In 1998 Pia decided to redirect his life and become a minister, something
he had an interest and desire to do for a long time. He still plays Hawaiian
music, but these days he is largely focused on officiating at weddings. "It is
a joyful, meaningful way to connect with people", Pia says.
Weddings are happy times, and here in Maui we have the perfect setting to
make it a truly memorable occasion. The excitement that Pia feels from each
couple is contagious. He is honored and blessed to be a part of your ceremony.

Rev. Alalani Hill
Kahu Alalani Astara Hill trained under "Papa" the Blessed Kahu Kawika
Ka'alakea. She carries on the ministry as
his
chosen student. Her work includes Hawaiian weddings, blessings, baptisms, and
funerals. Papa was one of the last great Kahunas in Hawaii and Maui's leading
Kahuna as well as a Pentecostal Minister. Alalani was his personal assistant
in the last years of his life.
Alalani offers an authentic ancient Hawaiian ceremony which includes Hamo
(anointing palms with holy oil) and Ope'a (binding) of wrists with sacred
cordage to join your two flames as you say your vows. This ceremony includes a
ceremonial food or drink of Niu (coconut) for fertility or Awa root drink or
Kulolo (taro/coconut cake) for ancestors or to join families. You will be
wrapped in a wedding Kapa (blessed bark cloth) or receive two keepsake Kukui
nut bracelets to seal your commitment in light. The ancient ceremony is an
additional charge. Click here to read a

Rev. Alalani is also available as an Jewish officiant. Although we do have
a Rabbi on island, he is not always available to perform a Jewish ceremony.
She has studied the Jewish protocol and can perform a ceremony, complete with
a Hebrew blessing.
When you call me, I'll go over all the details with you.
Rev. Tino Rosete
Born and raised on Maui, Rev. Valentine (Tino)
Rosete truly represents the spirit of Aloha. Tino, having been ordained
through New Passion Ministries and having been a dedicated family man
for
many years, has built his life upon a foundation of love and devotion that
is matched only by his commitment to providing the most heart-felt wedding
ceremonies.
Whether presiding over a large ceremony or simply joining a couple in
matrimony on a secluded beach, Tino approaches every interaction with the
individual attention and respect that it deserves. And though he’s married
hundreds of happy couples with his Hawaiian Non-Denominational Christian
ceremonies, he continues to treat each new ceremony as a new chance to pour
his sincerity and passion into every word he speaks.
Tino feels truly blessed to do what he does, and he derives no greater
pleasure than in the sharing of his faith and his Aloha spirit.
With his warm smile and easy going nature, Tino is a Hawaiian minister
who is much in demand. Licensed in the Church of God, he provides religious
or contemporary Hawaiian ceremonies. Book early to insure his availability.

Rev. Ken Ho'opai
Rev. Kenneth Kalei Ho'opai Jr. is one of my favorite ministers. He has been
described as "what I always thought a Hawaiian minister would be like." He is
full of the aloha spirit, always smiling and fully of joy. You will know
instantly that he is in love with the Lord and that he enjoys what he's doing.

He will make your wedding ceremony or vow renewal a cherished memory. As a
non-denominational minister, he is licensed by the State of Hawaii and is one
of the most popular minister on Maui. As you can see by the photograph, he
also plays the ukulele, and often plays for his wedding couples.
Rev. Dennis De Rego

Rev. Dennis De Rego is a minister that I use a lot. He is
one of the most laid-back ministers on Maui. Often a favorite with our
couples, Rev. Dennis will perform either a religious or non religious
ceremony. He offers
a feeling of "Aloha" that is unique to his ceremonies.

ordained by the World Christianship Ministry, and founder of Aloha Nohea

Rev. Kimo Kirkman
Rev. Kimo Kirkman is a strong Hawaiian minister who our
couples really enjoy. He is very personable and knows how to make the bride
and groom feel at home. Pastor James "Kimo" Kirkman is a newer minister on
Maui. Pastor Kimo is an Associate Pastor at Harvest Chapel. He opens every
marriage celebration with the blowing of the conch shell, the oli (Hawaiian
chant) and closes with a Hawaiian prayer. He will perform religious,
non-religious, vow renewals and is open to travel wherever needed.
Rev. Ernest Pua'a
Rev. Ernest Pua'a is a Hawaiian minister that I enjoy working
with.

Rev. Ron Winkler
Rev. Ron Winkler was educated and ordained to the ministry, approaches
each ceremony with an understanding of its importance. Ron was ordained in 1974 through a large,
non-denominational congregation. He is a preferred
minister for resorts such as the Four Seasons and Grand
Wailea on the island of Maui. His easy-going personality
and communication skills will bring a focused passion
to your ceremony.
His wedding vows will express your commitment to this union.
He draws
on his background as a minister, writer for TV news, and editor & founder of
Maui's largest weekly newspaper. Ron has carefully crafted vows of poetic
elegance. Vows used can also be modified to include special readings. Click

Christian Ministers
Rev. Charles Casco & Rev. David Courson
We have two new ministers that we have added. Both are true
non-denominational ministers serving at Calvary Chapel in South Maui. Both
are warm and personable and have a heart for God. Both will customize their
ceremony for you individually. Rev. David Courson will even add a little
Hawaiian if you like! They're so new to me, I don't have photos up yet! They
are not new to performing weddings as each has performed hundreds of
ceremonies.
If you desire a Maui Catholic
wedding the priests on the island all require that you get married in their
respective churches. A non-denominational minister is often a simpler
way to go.
